About The Event

A night twenty years in the making.

In 2006, AIESEC in Vietnam began with 30 brave young people and a belief that youth, when trusted, can shape a better world. Twenty years later, we gather to honour that journey — every triumph, every crisis overcome, and every generation that kept the train moving.

A20 is not just a celebration. It is a reunion of thousands who were shaped by AIESEC, and a reminder that the impact we made together stretches far beyond our own time.

What You'll Take Home

Why A20 is worth showing up for.

  • A once-in-20-years reunion with 12,000+ alumni across every generation of AIESEC in Vietnam — all in one room, one night.
  • Reconnect face-to-face with your Local, your batch, and the people who shaped your AIESEC story.
  • Relive the culture and spirit of an AIESEC conference — one more time, with everyone who lived it alongside you.
  • Network across all 9 local chapters — every city, every era, every generation under the same roof.
  • Look back at 20 years of what was built — and hear firsthand what is coming next for AIESEC in Vietnam.
  • Rediscover the leadership values, the friendships, and the version of yourself that AIESEC helped build.
What We Stand For

The six things that made us who we are.

These are not just values on a wall. They are the reasons you stayed late, the reasons you came back, the reasons you are here tonight.

01
Striving for Excellence
Value 01
Striving for Excellence

We challenge ourselves to be the best in whatever we do — not for trophies, but because the youth we serve deserve nothing less.

Twenty years of AIESECers who refused to settle. That's this night.

02
Demonstrating Integrity
Value 02
Demonstrating Integrity

We act consistently, transparently, and honestly — even when no one is watching. Especially then.

The value that kept us alive through crises, debt, and a global pandemic.

03
Activating Leadership
Value 03
Activating Leadership

We lead by example and create space for others to lead. Our most important product has always been the next generation of leaders.

60,000+ exchanges. 12,000+ alumni. Each one, a leader activated.

04
Acting Sustainably
Value 04
Acting Sustainably

We build for the long term. We consider the impact of our choices on the people who come after us.

A 20-year-old organisation, still running. That is what sustainability looks like.

05
Enjoying Participation
Value 05
Enjoying Participation

We create environments where everyone belongs and contributes. The energy in a room full of AIESECers is not an accident — it is a culture built deliberately.

The AIESEC Dance. The roll call. The Sugar Cube. You know what this means.

06
Living Diversity
Value 06
Living Diversity

We learn from every background, every perspective, every generation. A room of diverse people who trust each other is the most powerful room in the world.

A20: every term, every city, every chapter — one table.

AIESEC Leadership

Four qualities. Developed through real experience.

Not taught in a classroom. Built through late nights, tough decisions, and the kind of responsibility most people your age have never had to carry.

Self-Aware
01
Self-Aware

Knowing your strengths, your blind spots, your values — and leading from that understanding. AIESECers develop this by being thrown into situations that reveal who they really are.

Solution Oriented
02
Solution Oriented

Not "why is this hard," but "what do we do next." The organisations, events, and exchanges that AIESECers run are real — and they require real answers, fast.

World Citizen
03
World Citizen

Caring about the world beyond your own city, country, or generation. Understanding that the most important problems do not respect borders — and neither should the people solving them.

Empowering Others
04
Empowering Others

The leaders who shaped AIESEC in Vietnam knew this: your greatest contribution is not what you built while you were here. It is who you left behind to build what comes next.

💙

"AIESEC changed how I see myself, how I see others, and how I see the world. I want to give back to AIESEC — and continue what it started."

Chapter 1
The Foundation

AIESEC in Vietnam was born in September 2006 when Asami Ando from AIESEC in Japan arrived in Ho Chi Minh City. By November 2006, the first 30 members were recruited. In February 2007, AIESEC in Vietnam was granted official entity status. The journey had begun — with no office, no legal status, and no certainty. Only courage.

Chapter 2
The Very First Years

New local chapters. First legal status as Youth Vision Consulting (2009). First national partnership with Unilever. By 2011, full member of the global AIESEC plenary. IPM 2015 hosted — ultimately in Cambodia, but defining a generation's resilience and courage in the face of the unexpected.

Chapter 3
The Growth Hacker

1,000+ exchanges for the first time in Term 14.15. AI debt paid off. YouthSpeak launched. Digital marketing built. LC Can Tho founded — AIESEC in Vietnam became truly national. This era built the systems that would outlast any single generation.

Chapter 4
The Wake-Up Call

COVID-19 disrupted everything. "How does it feel to lead an organisation through a global pandemic? I think it is different for each hour of the day." AIESEC in Vietnam navigated lockdowns, rebuilt, and emerged with 20 generations of alumni and a history book ready to be handed forward.
